What was originally a throwaway line by Wuher in A New Hope continues to inspire the creation of other Star Wars characters today. In fact, much of Mando's backstory is actually similar to Wuher in that they both lost their family to battle droids during the Clone Wars. ![]() This attribute was unique to his character at the time, and later, the Mandalorian shares his hatred for droids. One of the first conflicts in the Mos Eisley cantina is when the bartender, Wuher, tells Luke that C-3PO and R2-D2 need to wait outside because he doesn’t serve droids.
